OCTANe recognizes Orange County-based ticket insurance firm for its suite of solutions


NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2019) – Protecht was recognized as a finalist in the Consumer Product category at the 2019 OCTANe High Tech Innovation Awards (HTA) on Sept. 12, 2019.

 Each September the HTA recognizes and honors companies that have demonstrated innovation in the Orange County area in nine award categories. Protecht, which provides event ticket and registration insurance to consumers, was honored as one of the four finalists at the Balboa Bay Resort award ceremony. 


Coming off the exciting win of 2019 Best Places to Work, Protecht was honored to be recognized for its incredible product suite in a consumer product category. Protecht passed a nomination process before advancing to the finalist portion.


After advancing, Protecht underwent a “judging day” which consisted of an office visit and an interview process with the judges of the OCTANe High Tech Innovation Awards.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Protecht has appointed Chief Operating Officer Beau Jeppesen as its chief product officer, which is a new position. The move was effective July 1.

 

In his new role, Jeppesen brings his combination of extensive experience in product innovation and his global sales and market expertise to ensure Protecht’s engineering and product teams continue to be the creators of innovation happening in Protecht’s respective industries.
